Let total charge on B is q.

V B = 0

Or q = –Q.

(ii) ∴ All charge q = – Q

appears on inner surface of B due to induction

⇒ Charge on outer surface of B = 0

⇒ Field between A and B due to B = 0

Field between A and B due to A = 0

Net field between A and B = 0.
